Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
Please reed also the General Conditions before subscribing

Q: What is the membership fee to subscribe to the Caribbean Weather Net ?
A: US $24 p/year

Q: Is the Caribbean Weather Net active the whole Year?
A: Yes, but several features are only updated and active during the Hurricane season from June 1 until December 1.

Q: When will we be able to see the WeatherLive cameras?
A: We are working on the software and as soon as we are ready we will install the WeatherLive cameras, hopefully during this season, otherwise by next season.

Q: Will the site always be up and running?
A: We hope so, but please remember, we are located in the Caribbean and even with our generators and computer back ups there is always a possibility that the site will be out of order for a while, that the satellites are not streaming the information or that we have no Internet connection. This will in any case never be a reason for a refund of your membership fee.

Q: What is the difference with the other weather web sites available for free on the Internet.
A: We have our own forecasters, our own Graphics, many exclusive satellite photos, doppler radar, correspondents and several features which you will not find on free sites.

Q: Which Islands are covered in the Caribbean Weather Net?
A: We cover the Islands from The most Southern Windwards ( Grenadines ) to Puerto Rico and when there is a hurricane we mostly continue to update until the system is further than HISPANOLA ( Haiti and Dominican Republic ) even sometimes all the way until landfall in the USA.

I have received your fax today Tuesday 09 August 2005, with again my username and password that I lost.

I like to thank you very much in responding, but I have not received any of the previous emails you have sent to me.

May I finally reiterate, many thanks and I look forward to continuing be a member of this site for many years to come. I follow the site very much so during the hurricane season, it is a great site.

With regards

Mr Haydn John Angove U.K.

Dear Caribbean Weather Net,
Just wanted to thank you for the good work with your web site.
Already last year we could follow the hurricanes when they came over our Island Grenada every half hour with correct positions and images, and again this season.
There are many sites available on the net for free, but it is worth to pay the little amount for yours and have accurate and updated information which saved us a lot during the storms !

Thanks again

Dear Caribwx.net,

Thank you so much for updating the site during last week heavy rains.
No other site did anything, not even the National Hurricane Center and yours was updated every 15 minutes during the Saturday rains.
Although you forecasted the heavy rains, many accidents occurred in St.Maarten and even two people are dead.
They should all have registered with you so that the could know in advance that heavy rain was coming.

Beste wishes.

Cherryl St.Maarten
